About
Anaïs Morel
I’m originally from France and have been living in Québec City since 2010. Having grown up in the French Alps, I’ve never been too scared of the cold or snow. As a child, I spent plenty of time at school gazing out the window at the snowy mountains, daydreaming about my next ski or snowshoe adventure.
The truth is … I love winter!
I fell in love with Québec City for its beauty, history, energy, incredible food scene, and the warmth of its people and of course, its real winters!
I aspire to a lifestyle where we take our time, connect genuinely with others, and respect our environment.
I offer warm, personalized tours full of stories and discoveries, blending my perspective as both a local resident and an expat.
I’m a certified Québec City tour guide and speak both French and English, you’ll love my French accent!
“Our first experience when arriving in Quebec city was a walking tour—highly recommended! Our tour guide, Anaïs, was incredible- she provided a wealth of knowledge of the history of the city and province- and she made it exciting and fun! She took the time to get to know everyone’s name and made all feel comfortable. She loves her work and her enthusiasm for the city is contagious. Enjoy!”
Client Reviews
“We had a private tour just for my wife and me. Anaïs was perfect. She took us to spots we might not have found on our own and, above all, was generous with explanations about the city’s and region’s history. An excellent introduction before exploring on our own. Michel”
“The tour was fantastic! Anais was not only knowledgeable but very friendly and great with our 3yo who joined us on the tour. It was a rainy day, but Anais made it work wonderfully and adapted well. Highly recommend if you are interested in the history of the city. We had a wonderful time!”
