A smiling woman outdoors in the snow, wearing a gray beanie, a scarf, and a navy winter jacket with snow on it, surrounded by snow-covered trees.
Three people sitting outside in winter clothing, holding cups, around a fire pit, with a sign in French that says 'vin de cassis' and lights shaped like a star in the background.

Who is behind Tours Givrés?

Originally from Grenoble, in the heart of the French Alps, I have been living in Québec City since 2010, so cold and snow have never really scared me. As a child, I spent my days dreaming of mountain adventures, eyes lost in snowy landscapes… so discovering Québec winters was truly love at first sight for me.

I first came for a six‑month internship and here I am still, fifteen years later. I fell head over heels for Québec City: an incredibly beautiful city, rich in history, culture, and gastronomy, full of energy and human warmth. I also met a Québécois (yes, cliché!), and together we now have two daughters who sometimes correct my “France French” pronunciation to the Québec one.

Both local and “foreign,” I like to offer a unique perspective: that of a passionate resident who still sees the city with a sense of wonder. I will help you discover Québec through its contrasts and details, its cultural differences and its must‑sees, but also its more secret spots: an artist’s hidden café, a tucked‑away alley, or the best place to enjoy a poutine.

Outside of my tours, I collaborate with several arts organizations in Québec City, which allows me to stay up to date on everything that is happening: exhibitions, little‑known festivals, unusual shows. I love sharing this vibrant cultural life with my visitors.

At the end of 2025, I decided to go out on my own to offer winter‑inspired tours rooted in slow tourism — a way to discover Québec at your own pace, taking the time to talk, to feel, to observe. I enjoy stopping with my guests to look at the river, listen to life unfolding, and talk about the history of yesterday and the one we are writing today.

A certified Québec City guide, I speak French and English (you will love my French accent!). I especially enjoy working with families and tailoring my tours to children, because for me, curiosity has no age.
